Recreation and Parks

The department’s mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and quality leisure programs, activities, services and facilities to all residents of the Town of Gates and to actively inform and educate residents about the role of the Gates Recreation and Parks Department. Also, to ensure residents that all programs and facilities are available for the public to participate in regardless of race, gender, income, physical disabilities, creed or other barriers that would preclude participation.

The Gates Recreation and Parks Department will continue to stress the value of positive leisure experiences and continue to maintain liaisons with other public and private organizations that impact upon the education, health, safety and leisure needs of residents.
