Welcome from Town Supervisor-Cosmo A. Giunta,

Our community has been at the center of history for this area and the roots of Rochester can be directly traced to our town. Rochesterville was a village in Gates until Nathaniel T Rochester presented the application of incorporation to the Legislature which was approved 1817 and by 1822 the name was legally changed to Rochester.
